Sheep Counting

It had become pretty frustrating that I cannot fall asleep without counting sheep, even if I did, it doesn't always work... Just bought some chamomile tea from Coles, hope it would work tonight...

Well I was wondering, what to think while counting sheep helps me falling asleep?

Usually when I count sheep, I'll think of their arrangements according to the number counted, though I am not that kind of math savvy... The arrangements are in different forms, among which the simplest way is add them to a circle and imagine the circle enlarges, but what I usually do is try to arrange them as rectangles or squares, which requires much more maths... :S It is usually the case that my head gets bit of slower than the count as the number increases and I'll think hard, which comes one of the thresholds. I'll either find it harder and harder to get the image of sheep arranging then fall asleep or simply dumped counting and remained awake.

The classic sheep counting is more likely to imagine the sheep jump over the fence one after another despite the number counted. But with numbers counting aloud I can't help myself concentrating on the ones that are in the fence... I must declare again that I ain't a math savvy, but I don't think one would believe if they only read this, I actually am not though...

I didn't know why am I writing such crap but there's a voice in me calling for it so here it is... Another thing is I found the quality of posts here gets worse with time... Maybe I should reduce the frequency of updating...

How about some sunshine? How about some beach?

I shouldn't have been thinking of such actually as I am supposed to be revising for the exams coming from next week. Thing is, if I ain't planning that right now, I don't have another chance to.

Ya I am thinking of an escape to Queensland and I am almost finished planning. I think I'll fly to Brisbane on 23rd or 24th June, this is actually the hardest part. I hate those cheap airlines not offering a good price to Brisbane from Melbourne. There's only two flights every day by Jetstar and not at all by Tiger. The Jetstar flights are extremely weird, besides they all depart that desolate Avalon airport, you will have to either get up at 5:00 in the morning to catch the 8:00 flight or reach a complete strange city close to midnight... I would do neither. Think I'll choose to fly at noon or something by Virgin Blue, although the ticket is more expensive itself, the difference is not as much to cover taxi fares to Avalon, which would probably costs $120.

After two or three days visit in Brisbane I'll ride a train to gold coast and stay in a friend's place, which they just moved in. They will be happy to show me around I'm sure, but it is pretty embarrassing I would have to bother them for quite a while. I'll then fly back to Melbourne.

Wish I could make it as I am still not quite sure about the Brisbane part... But I'll try anyway, to escape from the windy and freezing weather in Melbourne, and to embrace some sunshine and beach up Queensland.
